Well we had a fun Halloween Kaylee was a little fairy her costume was a 2T. It fit ok but it will fit her even better next year! She had tons of fun dressing up and getting lots of candy. It has filled up my candy jar for a year haha. Garth is happy to eat it along with Kaylee. We also had my family's annual halloween cookie decorating night. We had lots of fun coming up with fun ideas. A couple of weekends ago we got to stay with my grandpa Sanderson for the weekend while my parents went to Colorado for my cousin's wedding. We had a lot of fun visiting and Kaylee gained a new buddy. She was constantly playing in his room and showing him how toys work. I often would find her on his lap just singing or playing with toys. It was cute. I definately saw some smiles from both and great bonding time.
Kaylee went to the doctor yesterday kicking and screaming (literally) through the whole appt. She hates going. Mostly she hates people she doesn't know real well. One day she'll get over that. She got 3 shots (which she was fine after so we went to the store real quick and she was doing great then on the way out she threw up no fun!) and the doctor said for how much she knows and is talking that we may have a genious on our hands. He also said that the main reason why she probably isn't sleeping well at night is because she talks so much and just wants to keep learning. No wonder her head is so big! She is constantly asking while pointing at something " what's that?" She has discovered that she can stick things up her nose and in her ears which causes me to now keep an even closer eye on her. Her favorite movie at the moment and for the last month has been Nemo. She watches it almost everyday and is the only movie she will sit through. She loves fish. She is 23 almost 24 lbs and 32 inches tall. Just keeps on growing. Too fast if you ask me. She has started potty training a little and she will tell us most times when she needs to go potty and loves to take her diaper off and throw it away. She is a great helper and loves to clean! We'll see how long it lasts. She will help pick up her toys before bed time and helps me vaccumm and clean.
Garth is doing well in school and loving working for my dad. He is enjoying the work he is doing and learning a lot. My dad's business continues to grow. I have been busy getting ready for the boutique I'll be at and crafting. It has been great to be able to get back into my scrapbooking and crafting. I also finally got my wheat grinder out and ground some wheat and made 2 loaves of bread to see which of my 2 bread machines I like better. We are excited for the holidays and look forward to seeing family.
