So last Saturday we went to the Mesa Art Center to do some free family pictures. (If you want in on some free pictures check out my friend's website... http://brittneymckayphotography.blogspot.com/ read her about me section) Anyways, we had a ton of fun and were glad we could get them done for Kaylee's 2 month pictures.
As for Kaylee... She is now sleeping through the night!!! she sleeps anywhere from 6-10 hours with one feeding usually in between! It is so wonderful. But that also means that she is awake pretty much all day. And she only naps maybe 2 times for about 15 or 20 minutes. But I will take her sleeping through the night any day! She has now discovered her fist... she tries to suck her thumb, but she hides it from herself under her other fingers so she sucks on her fist. It is very cute. She has also started rubbing her eyes when she gets tired. And we took her swimming the other day for the first time. She kicked around and laughed for about 2 minutes straight we were laughing so hard. Pictures of swimming coming soon... As for the rest of us we are doing great just keeping busy as always. Especially going to wedding receptions for all our friends who are getting married. We have two this weekend and two next weekend. I have been having fun making bows for Kaylee's headbands. They are so fun and cute. Other than that nothing much more has happened. We enjoyed a week of visiting with my grandpa and my Aunt Sandy. We love our family!

Kaylee 4-7weeks & Life & Picture Overload & Mother's Day
I know it has been over a month since I've blogged, but I will try to do better. These last 4 weeks have been very long and tiresome & exciting. Kaylee is doing well growing healthy & strong. She had been crying very often and wasn't sleeping well at all so we took her to see a chiropractor. Wow it did wonders! She is not in pain anymore. She use to not let us rub her back and now she loves it. Her hip also would come out of place so that got fixed. She has been so much happier! Where as before she was just in pain and unhappy. She is a bit colicky and was doing really well at sleeping at night, but now has gotten her days and nights mixed up again. She will quite often stay awake after our nightly routine of bath, eat, read, bed. She is usually up til about 5 in the morning meaning we don't go to bed til then. It has been rough! Luckily we know she will grow out of it someday. We had a rough start when she was born she wouldn't nurse at all so I had to pump often to feed her. And after a month she finally started nursing odd! But we are so glad she is finally doing so. She gets very gassy & so that bothers her quite often. We have tried everything from holding her upside down to mylicon drops to gripe water... nothing works! So we have opted for the diet... meaning I get to avoid eating dairy, spicy foods, dark green vegetables, and wheat... it is so hard... but hopefully it will help Kaylee so she isn't hurting & spitting up so much. Other than that she is wonderful & smiling more and more each day. We love making her smile & playing with her. Her smile just makes us melt & makes everything so much better. She has started a new thing... peeing on us! haha we will changer her diaper and by the time we go to put a new one on she is peeing all over us! Oh the joys.
As for Garth & me we get as much sleep as week can, which still isn't much, and try to maintain a house. Garth has been looking for a new job, which has been very frustrating & hard for him, but we know the Lord will provide for us. We are enjoying parenthood and all that it entails. Garth is glad to be done with school for the summer. Garth does well helping out with Kaylee. I have been busy putting together a wedding guestbook & wedding flowers for my cousin Chad who gets married next month! I am also cleaning Garth's grandma's house to earn some extra money. Other than that not much has been happening in our lives. We are enjoying being with family and being able to go swimming now! Oh and I had a wonderful Mother's day. Garth gave me a frame with our temple marriage certificate and roses & Kaylee gave me a framed picture of her and me. It was a wonderful relaxing day spent with both our families. And we got to talk to my brother Matt who is serving in Uruguay and will be home in 1 month!!!
